Challenge #26 - Lots 'o Flowers!!

First of all, let me apologize for the lateness of this post! I spent six hours in the emergency room last night and so I wasn't able to get this preposted and of course, I slept in a tad this morning and have had a slow start getting going. Nevertheless, we have another wonderful challenge for you!

But first, our random winner of last week's challenge is............EMILY!!! Check out this awesome card she made using the swashbuckling Billy Blyth!!

This week our fabulous hostess Andrea is asking us to use lots of flowers!!! I think this may be because we just picked up a bunch of gorgeous new Prima blooms at Scrapfest and at our local sb store, Scrappin' Great Deals and we just need an excuse to use them! Right Andrea?? Anyway, it's a super easy challenge because who doesn't love flowers? So we hope you can all play along!

And if you link up your design to this post, you could be the random winner of the lovely Swingin' Emmylou stamp that is featured on Andrea's card today!!

Also I wanted to share that we are SUPER excited to welcome KRISTA as our newest Guest Krafty Girl!!! Andrea and I have known Krista for a while now through our local sb store and through doing classes together. Well, she is such a talented crafter in her own right that I just had to have her on the when I saw her at Scrapfest last week, I asked her and she said yes!!! Thanks for joining us Krista....we're so glad to have ya!!!

NOW check out these amazing designs with Lots o' Flowers!!!

A Krafty Girl Meetup!!

Whew!! What a weekend! I'm still recovering from our little trip to Kitchener for Scrapfest! So much fun, so many new goodies and so many wonderful friends!!!

Krafty Andrea and I went up on Friday so that we could stay overnight and be at the Auditorium bright and early on Saturday morning. We had hoped to meet up with a couple more Krafty Girls but things didn't seem to be working out for us. Tara had planned to come with her friend but then something came up. Vicki was sick with a stomach bug....blech...poor girl! And Melanie was coming, then couldn't come, then finally...she came!!

So while Andrea and I shopped and chatted and visited with people like Emily Bella, Linda Heavens, Paula Williamson, Kimber McGray....we were trying to keep our eyes peeled for Melanie's red hair! Haha! We didn't see her anywhere during the first part of the day, so when we met up with Angie and Lori, we were so hungry from all the shoppin' that we decided to leave the Aud and go out for lunch!! We went to Red Lobster....yummmmm! Anyway, the minute that we walked back into Scrapfest, we saw Melanie!!! Yaaaay! It was so wonderful to finally meet this amazingly talented woman! She's so sweet and we chatted and hung out and looked for new goodies together! Wish we could have spent more time together....but I'm hoping there will be more events for us all to meet up at.....hopefully Tara and Vicki can make it too next time! about a Kraftin' Kimmie event?? An all day stamping event.....what do you think?? Would anyone be interested in something like that??? Hmmmm....something to ponder.

Anyhoo, here's a shot of three Krafty Ladies!!

Probably THE most exciting part of my day.....was seeing Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps at the Scrapalicious booth!! What an absolute thrill!! I can't believe it....I may have even teared up a tiny bit! Of course I had to take pics! It was also pretty cool when people told me that they knew my stamps and love them! Super kool!!!

Be sure to check out my personal blog and Andrea's blog tomorrow for more fun deets and some super pics from our fabby day at Scrapfest!!!

I'm so thrilled that they have joined our team and can't wait to introduce them to you. So before I show you everyone's inspirational cards for the challenge, I'm going to post their bios!! Please meet the girls:

AINSLEIGH: Hi, I’m Ainsleigh! I am ten years old and in grade four. Dance is a big part of my life, and I spend many hours a week studying both Ballet and Highland Dancing. I also love anything “artsy”! I love to sketch and create my own characters. A little over a year ago, my mom started stamping and colouring with Copic markers. We enjoy creating cards together. Copic markers are my favourite way to colour stamped images! I love Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, and am very excited to be a part of the Junior Krafty Girls Design Team!! Thank you to Miss Kimmie for letting me participate. I look forward to getting to know the other Junior Krafty Girls and to sharing my cards with you!

Hannah is 10 years old and in Grade 5. She started colouring stamped images and making cards about 1 year ago. She really enjoys spending time with her Mom, Tara Godfrey, colouring and chatting in her craftroom. She also likes school especially art, gymnastics and taking family vacations. She also has a blog, Lucky Girl!!

Hi my name is Jaime and my mom is Andrea. I wanted to be one of Kim's Junior Krafty girls because Kim is AWESOME and I love her stamps. I enjoy making card designs and putting sparkles on everything. I also like long walks in the sunset lol!!!! My mom normally doesn't let me use her copics unless it's for Kraftin' Kimmie or a crafting emergency.

Hi this is Katie and my mom is Andrea. I called Kimmie and asked if I could be on her Design team because I really like to design cards because it's fun. If you practice it gets easier and easier and you find you come up with more good ideas for each card. It's also really fun to decorate the cards with flowers and stickles! Kimmie likes to think I am her daughter because we are a lot alike. I even made my mom flowers out of tissue paper for her birthday because she loves homemade presents the best. Every time I go into my mom's craft room I can't resist making a card.

Say hi to the girls and check out everyone's awesome cards!!!

Some More Krafty Peeks!!

It's Day Two of our April Krafty peeks and the girls have outdone themselves again!!! Seriously....does this team ROCK, or what???

April Krafty Peeks.....Day ONE!

Guess what time it is at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps?? Is that even a real question??? Silly me!!! You know what time it is!! It's the middle of the month, so that MUST mean it's time for some new stamps!!!

This month Annie's gone Medieval on us and Cindy and Mindy are showin' some love!!!

And today the Krafty Girls are starting to share some Krafty Peeks of the new stuff!!! We'll have new creations for you every day for the rest of the week, ending with an awesome Krafty Hop on release day, Sunday!!!

Check out these blogs today to see what I'm talkin' about!!!!

Challenge 23 - A Little Punchy!

Well, hey there stampers! Long time no see, right?! Well, I'm back from holidays and we're back to our weekly challenges after a one week hiatus. So that means you had lots of time to do the previous challenge with eyelets!! Wasn't that fun, pulling out your old eyelets and eyelet setters? I know I had fun!! Our random winner of that challenge is.................STEPHANIE!!! Congratulations and be sure to email me with your shipping info so I can get your prize out to you right away!!

**Exciting Newsflash** Some of the new Tea Party images are sold out on the website for the moment, but I made a long trip up to my rubber lady's house yesterday and picked up some restocks, so they will be back in stock within the next three days...maybe sooner depending how much sleep I really need! Hahaha! ALSO, our April release is quickly approaching.....and you'll start seeing Krafty Peeks starting on Thursday!!!

Now on to this week's challenge from the ever so sassy Jeanne!! She wants us to use any punches or die cuts on your designs....that should be any easy one, right? If you're like me, you've got your shelves lined up with these babies!!

If you play along this week, be sure to use KKSC23 and KraftinKimmie as your keywords when uploading to an online gallery such as Splitcoast. Also you could win yourself the lovely Victoria fairy stamp, as featured on Jeanne's gorgeous creation!

Check out the Krafty Girls' amazing inspiration:
