I used the Sandy Toes stamp set for this summer beach card! 

I painted it with my watercolors and used our new Krafty Dots as embelishment! 

I used 3 different blues and a white from our Springy, Rainbow and Basic dot sets!

The sentiment is from the Beach Blanket Bingo set!

Inspirational Wednesday - Hoppy Friends

This week Krafty Girl, Marieke is sharing

her creation using the lovely HOPPY FRIENDS stamp set
which is now BACK IN STOCK!

Hello All, it's Krafty girl Marieke here and today it's my turn to show you some inspiration! I have chosen to stay with the season and make a spring love card using Hoppy Friends!

So i stamped the image using Wicked Black and colored the image in using my Copic Markers. I have fussy cut the image and set it aside. The base of the card is a double topfold card 10,5 x 13,5 cm. With Yummy Yellow i made the rays. To get the love theme in the card i used the Happy Hearts stencil and the Pretty in pink ink. To give it all some grounding i used Bubbly blue. Die cut the grass and gave the tops some extra dimension using Mossy Meadow. Stamped the sentiment using Wicked Black and adhered the grass on the card. And the last step is to adhere the image on the card using some 3-d tape.

Inspirational Wednesday - Blast Off!

Today is INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY -

the day we provide you with a bit of extra crafty inspiration to help you get creative with your krafty stamps!

This week Krafty Girl, Allison is sharing

her card creation using the lovely BLAST OFF! stamp set!

 Howdy fellow Kraftin' Kimmie Lovers!  I'm Ally and today I'm going to share my fun interactive card featuring the super cute stamp set, Blast Off!

I first stamped my cute spaceship and planet images using "Wicked Black" ink. This ink is Copic Marker safe so I pulled out my markers and coloured up all my images. 

So as an interactive card, all you do is pull those gold cardstock pieces out a bit and the spaceship will move a little amoung the stars.

You'll also notice to make the glass on the spaceship look real, I layered a piece of clear acetate over top of the window lines and then made a few slits on the body of the ship to tuck it in to adhere it more firmly to the whole piece on the back.

 

I also used the adorable "Starburst Stencil" for my back ground.  I used some Ranger "Perfect Medium" ink which is sticky through the stencil then I brushed on some Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls onto the sticky stars.  I just makes that sky super sparkly along with this little mini gold stars!

Hello Krafty friends! As Kimmie mentioned, I used the Cool Critters stamp set. I stamped the image in our Wicked Black ink and colored it with my Copics. I tried to match the mouse clothes with my daughter ones. I thought that making a speech bubble with the sentiment was a cool idea to make my daughter say something.

Hello Krafty friends! As Kimmie mentioned, I used the fun You're Sun-sational stamp set. I stamped the image in our Totally Taupe ink on Arches cold-pressed watercolour paper. The scene was done in Daniel Smith watercolour paints. I love that our inks are compatible with a variety of mediums. Even when my paper is saturated with water, it doesn't bleed!

Hi all, 
I love this set, super cute and fun!

Sheryl has designed this little "chefs",
a boy and a girl and some critters,
they have baked some cookies and cupcakes for you.
Wish you could smell the sweet flavour.

Great for birthdays or sweet cards in general.

I have used some of my donuts paper 
and the sprinkles were added with the stencil 
and some ice paste and some sparkle added 
with some nail polish
 ( yes I use all kind of things for my cards )
A real mixed media card.

 inks which I have used to colour the watercolour paper

Hello everyone! Krafty Girl Delphine here to share some inspiration with an out of this world set called BLAST OFF! It's a super cute set, perfect to tell someone how special they are or just to wish them a great day :) I chose to really focus on the images and coloured a little scene using two characters from the set. I simply added a dark sky and a ground suggesting the moon or another planet. 
I coloured everything in Copics and added a few white highlights on the characters and on the sentiment in gel pen. And just a touch of Distress Inks on the edges of my card!

I had a blast playing with this set! It is super fun to pull out these images and get to use them multiple times! 

One of my favorite things to do is to use stencils to add some  small details to larger stamps and personalize things a little. I use the new Happy Hearts Stencil to add that little hard at the rear of the plane!

I am so excited to be able to share a new creation with you today.  

I'm so happy to be here on the Kraftin Kimmie Blog today to share some inspiration with you!  I ALWAYS grab my Copic markers when I sit down to color, but today I'm using Pencils on Kraft paper!  I had so much fun trying something different and working with a different medium.  I chose the joyful rabbit for this scene from the Ice, Ice, Baby stamp set!  

I challenge you to grab something different.  A different color combo, a different medium or maybe just a technique you have been wanting to try.   Do IT!!  Remember, its just paper and ink (or pencils or watercolor ;) )!

Happy Wendesday everyone!! I have a fun winter card for you today!
I used Lucas from the adorably fun set Cold Noses stamped in our Wicked Black Hybrid Ink!



I made a watercolor background, layered that up with some Doodlebug paper and a kraft card base!
Then stamped the sentiment in Wicked Black and heat embossed some teal and gold snowflakes from the Perky Penguins stamp set!

GINGERBREAD KISSES stamp set!

Hello everyone! Krafty Girl Delphine here to share some Christmas inspiration, with Christmas being just around the corner! There are lots of adorable Christmas stamps in the shop and I chose GINGERBREAD KISSES. I used the two characters from the set, did some fussy cutting and coloured them in Copics. For the "kisses" idea, I used a Doodlebug DP with hearts and die cut it with a circle die. I also added a piece of glitter tape - it is Christmas after all ;)!

Inspirational Wednesday - Angel Voices

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday fellow krafters!!!Welcome to another Inspirational Wednesday post!

Angel Voices

I am so excited to be able to share a new creations with you today.  

I colored the cute carolers with Copics:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00 and E000 with R20
Hair and Fur: E29, E25 and E21
Red: R59, R29 and R22
Green: G28, G24, G21 and YG03
White: W5, W3 and W1
Black: W9, W7, W5 and W3
Jeans: B99, B97, B95, B93 and B91
Caroles: E35, E33 and E31

I used a music Hot Foil plate to foil the pattern paper in matte black to create my own pattern paper.

I added some white glitter paste around the circle and the top edge of the Christmastree strip.  I added Ruby Red ink to the edges of the sentiment to give it a matted look and then matted it on glitter paper.

I finished it off with an Angel and music note buttons.

I just love these carolers and I hope you do too.

This week Krafty Girl, Larisa is sharing her creation with the Furry Holiday Wishes clear stamp set.

I am so thrilled to be taking over the blog today, making a holiday themed card with Furry Holiday Wishes! This set is so adorable and I just love creating with it.  For my card, I decided to work with the little fox in this set.  I colored him up and cut him out on my Scan N Cut 2.  Then I layered up several die cut pieces of patterned paper and popped him on top using some foam tape.  Then I clipped my sentiment at the top and there you have it.  One festive holiday card.

Hi there!  I'm so happy to share with you my card featuring the stamp Mr & Mrs Claus.  I decided to colour my image with Polychromos Pencils.  The designer paper used is from the Echo Park - A Perfect Christmas paper pad.  I framed the image with a Frantic Stamper Art Deco Frames die.  The sentiment and image was stamped using our Wicked Black ink. So dig out those fabby KKS stamps and have some fun!
