Challenge #303, Winter Fun!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can have a chance to WIN a $20 gift card to the Shop!! Show us your stuff!! In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $20 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!

Oh wow!!! Can you believe October is almost over! It even tried to snow on Saturday while I was raking leaves! Since mother nature thinks it is Winter I thought another holiday card was in order for today's Wonderful Wednesday. I used two awesome sets on my CAS card below Nettie, and The Magic of Christmas!! Hope you can play along with us and I can't wait to see your work. 

   

Our FALL Krafty Scrappy (Anything But a Card) Challenge

Hey yall!!  Tangii here, welcome back for another month of Krafty Scrappin!!!  For this challenge you can create ANYthing your little heart desires as long as it's NOT a card!!!  Calendars, bookmarks, pocket pages, traditional scrap pages...  Come play along with us each month and let's get some of those photo's out of boxes and on to something creative and fun!!  You will have a whole month to play along and you can play as many times as you like!   Here are a few things to remember...

THIS MONTH'S THEME: FALL!!!

1.  Create ANY scrap page, Project Life Layout or pocket page cards, altered item, etc.  JUST NOT A CARD!
2.  MUST use Kraftin Kimmie stamps to be entered in to the drawing.
3.  You have a month to play, enter AS MANY TIMES as you'd like!
4.  PRIZES?!?  Of course there are prizes!!  Once we've reached 5 entires, we draw a random winner (winner will be drawn at the close of the challenge)!!
5.  You have until Monday, November 23rd @ 9:00 pm Eastern. to get your entires in.
6.  Be sure to also share your creations on our Krafty Friends FB page so we can all drool and OH and AH!

KRAFTY TIPS & TUTS - Holiday Treat bag

Hi Everyone!!
Krafty girl Elisabete here and I'm showing you how to make some real cute Holiday treat bag using the adorable Happy Winter Days stamp set. These are great for teachers, co-workers or kids parties.  I love to make these for my Holidays parties and have one on each person's plate.
 

Start with a piece of heavy-weight cardstock cut to 4.25" x 11". (That's half of a standard sheet of cardstock, so you can make two of these from one sheet!) Score the cardstock at 1", 5.25", and 6.75" as shown below.

The second panel from the left will be the front of the treat bag.  On the front panel  I used a circle die (or you can use a punch) to cut out a circle from the center of the panel.  On this panel I decorated the front by stamping the little ornaments with a read ink pad. 

Next, we need to cut a notch in the top of the treat bag. Fold the score line between the 1" panel and the front panel, and mark the center. Using a 1" circle punch or die, cut a half-circle notch

Another half-circle notch needs to be cut at the opposite end of the cardstock, so that the unassembled treat bag will look like this:

Now it's time to fill your treat bag! I use the Wilton brand Clear Party Bags for these. They measure about 4" x 9" and fit perfectly inside the cover. Fill the bag about halfway with the goodies of your choice, then twist the top of the bag and insert it through the circular notch. Fold the cardstock so that the half-circle notch meets up with the circular notch at the top. Fold the 1" flap down over the back and adhere with double tape, or any kind of adhesive you like/use. I use the TomBow dot tape runner.

I stamped the wreath from the Happy Winter Days and colored it with Copics, fussy cut and adhered it to the front of the opening.  Stamped the little sentiment and glued as well. 

Finish but tying it all with a little bit of ribbon and there you have it! 

Super cute little treat bag.  You can do these for any occasion like Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc.. Just change the colors and sentiments.  Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps have so many sets that would be perfect to use.

Krafty girl Deborah here today with the new challenge. We're only two weeks away from Halloween! Can you imagine? So I thought we still needed 1 more Halloween challenge, so here it is!
For this card I've used two fabulous stampset. The zombiegirl is from the set "Trick or Eat!" and the sentiment with the cat is from "Spook-tacular Sentiments". Have fun!!!
