KRAFTY TIPS & TUTS - Holiday Treat bag

Hi Everyone!!
Krafty girl Elisabete here and I'm showing you how to make some real cute Holiday treat bag using the adorable Happy Winter Days stamp set. These are great for teachers, co-workers or kids parties.  I love to make these for my Holidays parties and have one on each person's plate.
 

Start with a piece of heavy-weight cardstock cut to 4.25" x 11". (That's half of a standard sheet of cardstock, so you can make two of these from one sheet!) Score the cardstock at 1", 5.25", and 6.75" as shown below.

The second panel from the left will be the front of the treat bag.  On the front panel  I used a circle die (or you can use a punch) to cut out a circle from the center of the panel.  On this panel I decorated the front by stamping the little ornaments with a read ink pad. 

Next, we need to cut a notch in the top of the treat bag. Fold the score line between the 1" panel and the front panel, and mark the center. Using a 1" circle punch or die, cut a half-circle notch

Another half-circle notch needs to be cut at the opposite end of the cardstock, so that the unassembled treat bag will look like this:

Now it's time to fill your treat bag! I use the Wilton brand Clear Party Bags for these. They measure about 4" x 9" and fit perfectly inside the cover. Fill the bag about halfway with the goodies of your choice, then twist the top of the bag and insert it through the circular notch. Fold the cardstock so that the half-circle notch meets up with the circular notch at the top. Fold the 1" flap down over the back and adhere with double tape, or any kind of adhesive you like/use. I use the TomBow dot tape runner.

I stamped the wreath from the Happy Winter Days and colored it with Copics, fussy cut and adhered it to the front of the opening.  Stamped the little sentiment and glued as well. 

Finish but tying it all with a little bit of ribbon and there you have it! 

Super cute little treat bag.  You can do these for any occasion like Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc.. Just change the colors and sentiments.  Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps have so many sets that would be perfect to use.

Krafty girl Deborah here today with the new challenge. We're only two weeks away from Halloween! Can you imagine? So I thought we still needed 1 more Halloween challenge, so here it is!
For this card I've used two fabulous stampset. The zombiegirl is from the set "Trick or Eat!" and the sentiment with the cat is from "Spook-tacular Sentiments". Have fun!!!

October KLEAR Krafty Release Day and HOP!

October Krafty Peeks....Day FIVE!! ICE, ICE, BABY! & Anything Goes Challenge!

(You're totally welcome for that earworm.....I know you'll be singing it ALL day!!)  This fun set includes THREE main images plus FOUR perfectly coordinating sentiments!! They are ADORABLE!!!

We are celebrating several things this weekend at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  Firstly, today is World Cardmaking Day and that's one of our favourite days of the year!  Also October 4th marks the SIXTH Anniversary of when our little stamp company that could began it's exciting journey!  PLUS we've just passed 3000 members in our Krafty Friends group on Facebook!  So we have a LOT to celebrate!

I've started an event page on Facebook where the party is taking place beginning at 9am EST this morning!  We'll have challenges every two hours with prizes to win, we'll have random giveaways throughout the day PLUS we have an INCREDIBLE SALE on right now at the KKS Shop with about 80 stamp sets on SALE 25-50% OFF!!!  But only until tomorrow night and only while supplies last!!

Hey Krafty Peeps!  Krafty Girl Kelli here with this weeks Challenge!!!!

My challenge for you is to get Monochromatic.  It's really easier than it seems!!!  I kept my card in fall colors and used the UBER FUN sentiment set from Becky called Spooktacular Sentiments!

I've been seeing cards all over the internets using the new Starbucks fall cups... and I was all BAM!  THAT'S IT!!!!!  WOOT!  lol

See how simple and FUN this is???  **note** Exacto knives are sharp.... don't ask me how I know! ;)

Krafty-Guesty-Goodness!!

Krafty Girl Tangii here... Holy Guacamole do we have a couple of FABULOUS Krafty Guests this month!!!  So, many of you know we like to have Krafty Guests stamp with us, but starting this month we are going to put the spotlight on them a bit!  Each month we will post a lil' announcement telling you a little about our Krafty Guests!
