Hello everyone! Krafty Girl Delphine here today to share my Birthday card for our challenge. I like tiny cards and thought I would use some of my Kraftin' Kimmie bee stamps for a cute Bday card. I used 3 little bugs and 3 hearts from the Bugs & Kisses set - a must have! - and I combined them to a beeeeautiful sentiment from the Sweet As Can Bee set!

Inspirational Wednesday - Heavenly Holiday

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday fellow krafters!!!
Welcome to another Inspirational Wednesday post!

This week Krafty Guy, Stephen is sharing his creation with the Heavenly Holiday clear stamp set!

Coloured with Copic makers, background is created using Krafty Kolours Inks in Yummy Yellow, Ruby Red, and Marvellous Mocha 

I stamped out the image with Wicked Black ink and coloured it up using Copic markers.

The background was created by masking off the image then ink blending using a stencil with Ruby Red and Yummy Yellow Krafty Kolour inks. To achieve that vintage feel, I ink blended the edges with Marvellous Mocha ink.

I went out of my comfort zone and tried something really different.

I used HAPPY OWL-OWEEN on this tag
but the challenging aspect for me was using my pencils.
I embossed the image and used my pencils to give it a "chalked" look. I of course couldn't forget the glow in the dark nuvo either.

I love to use those little girls stamps with my niece's pic!

Hello all,

Today it is my turn again to inspire you on inspirational Wednesday. And i decided not just to go for a card, but instead i decided to go for a series of ATC cards. As you know i do enjoy making those so once in a while. And the good thing is you can trade those with three different people so you make more people happy with your art.

So if you do not have a lot of Krafty time on your hands but still need to make some Christmas card these smaller cards (6,4 x 8,9 cm) are really handy to make and you don't have the fuss of making big cards. Two out of these three are up for trading so if you wanne trade one with me make sure to poke me!

Krafty Tips and Tuts - Dry Embossing With KKS Inks!

Hello and happy Monday everyone!!  It's Krafty Girl Marilyn and today I'd like to share a tip with you on how to use our KKS inks with Embossing powder!

I'll be using the stamp Christmas Blessings Sentiments along with a bunch of our Hybrid inks.  Here is a list and picture of supplies needed.

You will need, the stamp of your choice, some kind of stamp platform (so that you can repeatedly stamp the same image), any of our hybrid inks, Clear Embossing powder along with VersaMark Ink, a heat gun, and an anti-static bag.

So, it's actually very simple.  Choice your ink colour and your stamp, then using the stamp platform (I'm using the Misti but Kim also has the Tim Holtz stamp platform in the shop right now) ink up the stamp and stamp it multiple times.  You want the ink to be very dark or bold.  I stamped each of mine about 4 times.  Once you are happy with the image make sure to clean your stamp without removing it from the stamp platform.  This is so you don't transfer ink to your VersaMark Ink pad.  Here's a few pictures!

Next you want to go over the already stamped image with your anti-static bag, then you'll stamp over the image using your VersaMark ink.  Make sure you get good coverage.  Now you are ready to add the clear embossing powder.  At this point the ink will look a little dull from the powder.  Don't worry though, its about to get shiny and beautiful!!

Tap off any excess powder and using your heat gun melt the powder.  Below are some of the sentiments already done using various inks.  I hope you can see how shiny and a bit raised they are in these pictures!  Here I've used the inks Mossy Meadows and Purple Petunia.

This can also be done on coloured card stock.  Here's one done on red card stock using the Wicked Black ink.

Beautiful right?  I've also got a picture to show you a sentiment using Wicked Black ink and one with the same ink and then embossed with Clear embossing powder. 

I really love how the embossing powder enhances the inks.  This takes very little time and I think the extra step is well worth it.  Here's a card I created using Ruby Red and the clear embossing powder.

INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY - ICE ICE BABY!

Good morning fellow Krafters!  Welcome to another Inspiration Wednesday post!  

Each week one of our amazing design team members will be here to inspire you to get creative with your krafty stamps!

This week Krafty girl Marilyn is sharing her creation featuring the Ice Ice Baby clear stamp set!

Hi, I hope you're having a fun and krafty week!  I'm very excited to share with you my card featuring the stamp Ice Ice Baby!  Plus, for an added bonus this stamp set is on Sale.  So, grab it while you can!

I started off by picking my designer papers.  They are from the Echo Park - Twas The Might Before Christmas paper pad.  Then I coloured the image with Copics.  I used the Stitched Circle die to frame the image.  I finished it off with a button and some twine.  The sentiment and image was stamped using the Wicked Black ink from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

I hope I have inspired you to dig out those gorgeous KKS stamps and get creative!!  Don't forget this stamp set is on Sale while supplies last!!

Krafty Tips and Tuts - Airbrushed Scene with Masking

Happy Monday Krafty Friends! 

It's Krafty Girl Delphine here to share a little tutorial - a simple scene with masking and airbrushing!

For my character, I picked a cute sweetie from the Halloween Lulu set, just rereleased as rubber. I also used the Spooky Silhouettes set, a fabulous set to create Halloween scenes!

I stamped my character in Wicked Black Hybrid Ink on my Copic card and on a Post-It to mask her.

I then stamped a tree from the Spooky Silhouettes set three times. 

I then placed a mask to mimick a hill.

I airbrushed the sky RV23 and 66 starting from the bottom and then I started from the top with YR18 then YR04.

I used the other part of my mask to then cover the sky and create the hill. I used G29, YG03, 67. 

Next I coloured my sweetie in Copics and went back on the trees with a black Copic multiliner to make them really black.

Skin: E000, 00, 11

Hair: BV04, C7, 9, 10

Outfit: C5, 7, 9, 10, R35, 37, 39

Pumpkin: Y35, 38, YR04, 18 

And lastly, I coloured a tiny piece of paper in YG03 and stamped a Halloween sentiment from the Spooky Silhouettes set, and voilà!

Challenge #451 - SPOOKY!

Hello! Larisa here and this week I thought I'd challenge you all to make something SPOOKY!  With Halloween just around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to use some of your favorite spooky sets!  For my card, I decided to use Happy Owl-Oween!  To create my background I used Kraftin' Kimmie Inks: Purple Petunia, Wicked Black, and Yummy Yellow.  Then I die cut a spooky fence and grass to complete the scene.  I popped on my colored images with foam tape, stamped out my sentiment, and finished it off with a couple of bat stickers and a little pumpkin.
