Krafty Girl, Delphine is featuring the month of AUGUST!!

One of my favourite sets released this year is OUT OF THIS WORLD! These adorable monsters make me smile and can be used for lots of occasions.
I thought I would make a scene on a piece of grey board. I started by playing with Copic Various Inks on a piece of yupo paper to create a fun galaxy and adhered it to my grey board. The planet and character were stamped in Wicked Black Hybrid Ink, coloured in Copics - with the addition of fineliners for the monster - and then I added them to my galaxy sky, and voilà!

In August we released:

GRATEFUL PUMPKINS and SPOOKY SILHOUETTES!

Challenge #460 - Stencils!

Welcome to another fun Krafty Challenge!

Are you ready for some krafty fun??

We want you all to play along and we love to see your creations so let's get KRAFTY!

This week is all about....
STENCILS!

We know how much fun you've been having making creations featuring our brand new Krafty Stencils and Hybrid Inks!
So that's this week's challenge!

Hello Krafty friends! I hope that many of you have had the chance to get your fingers on our new inks and stencils...they are amazing! They have quickly become "must have" items! For my card this week, I stamped one of the snowmen from the Super Cool Pals stamp set in our Totally Taupe ink on cold-pressed cotton watercolour paper. After watercolouring the image (I actually started this project during a live colour-along video earlier this week on our Facebook page) I used our Sparkling Snowflake stencil and some white gouache to create the snowy sky. I then flicked some drops of white on the sky to add some smaller "flakes." I also added a pattern to the snowman's jacket with our Beautiful Burlap stencil and Marvelous Mocha ink.

Every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you can enter as many times as you like! Each submission will enter you into the monthly prize......which is a $40 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

We've also got a fun sketch for your inspiration for December! You don't have to use it but if you need a little extra kickstart in your mojo, feel free to use it any time!

I adore the MANATEE PALS stamp set released back in July...one of my favourites from 2018! I stamped one of the manatees, the ocean bottom, a sand dollar and some seashells from the set in our Totally Taupe ink and watercoloured the entire scene.

12 Krafty Days of Khristmas! Day SIX!

Welcome to Day SIX of

the Twelve Krafty Days of Khristmas!

I must admit, the moment I first laid eyes on the "From the Otter Side" stamp set I fell in LOOOOVE! This set is so fun to colour and I was so excited to get to create another project using it.
With the holidays approaching, I love creating clean and simple card designs and I feel like "From the Otter Side" lends itself perfectly to that.
To create my card, I started by ink blending a background using Purple Pansy, Mermaid Melody, and Bubbly Blue Krafty Kolour inks. To achieve the water droplet effect, I used an aqua painter that is filled with bleach and simply dropped the water and bleach mixture onto the ink blended background.
To colour the super sweet otter, I used the following Copic markers E49, E47, E57, E35.
I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday season and that you all get some time to get Krafty!!

12 Krafty Days of Khristmas! Day FIVE!

Welcome to Day FIVE of

the Twelve Krafty Days of Khristmas!

To make those kind of mistletoes and this poinsettia, I only used the rounded leaf in the Beautiful Blooms set, stamping them with Mossy Meadow for the mistletoes and the poinsettia and Ruby Red only on the poinsettia. I did some shading with my copics and completed with some Wink of Stella and a white gel pen.
On both tags, I used the new Sweater Weather Stencil with Granit Grey Krafty Kolour.
On the larger tag, I did the background by blending Ruby Red, Lovely Lagoon and Bubbly Blue Krafty Kolours with my Blending Tool.
On the smaller tag, I did my background with watercolors.
On both of the tags, I completed them with sequins.

As you can see, Beautiful Blooms is a very versatile stamp set. That's why it's one of my most used one and one of my favorite.

This week Krafty Girl, Alexis is sharing her creation featuring
CHRISTMAS CHEER!!!

I am so excited to be able to share some new creations with you today.

I love this set as the sentiments do truly speak for themselves.
I wanted them to be the focus so I chose more CAS cards for the base.
I added minimal embellishments however I did use our awesome inks to add a little colour around some of the papers.
I used RUBY RED and MOSSY MEADOW.

I had a blast with this CAS one layer card, I coloured this guy from Hard Working Dudes up with my coloured pencils. I love doing these with just a little colour on a Kraft card base. The image just pops and it just makes me happy.
