her creation using the lovely COOL CRITTERS stamp set!

Hello Krafty friends! As Kimmie mentioned, I used the Cool Critters stamp set. I stamped the image in our Wicked Black ink and colored it with my Copics. I tried to match the mouse clothes with my daughter ones. I thought that making a speech bubble with the sentiment was a cool idea to make my daughter say something.

And guess what?? This awesome stamp set is on SALE in the Krafty Shop all week long!

March Krafty Peeks...Day THREE! You Give Me Wings! PLUS a Challenge!

Welcome back to our third and FINAL day
of March Krafty Peeks!

March Krafty Peeks....Day ONE! Llama Drama!

as we kick off the

This is Day ONE of our Krafty Peeks and we are over the moon excited to share everything with you!
We've got new stamps, stencils, INK and enamel dots!
Hang on to your inkpads people....here we GO!

The first stamp set we are previewing for you is
called LLAMA DRAMA and is by our fabulous
artist, Melissa Baker-Nguyen!

This hilarious stamp set is just too fun for words!!
It features several main images (heads can be interchanged too), plus accessory stamps and awesome sentiments!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the Llama Drama stamp set in action in combination with our awesome new March Kraftin' Kimmie products!

You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink line! It's a stunning new dark royal blue called

Krafty Tips and Tutes! Rainbow Butterflies!!

Hi everyone!

Krafty Girl Melany here with your krafty Tips and Tuts of the week.

Today, you're going to follow me on my Rainbow art journal process. Here's the final result of our page:

Here's what you'll need:

-The Butterfly Dreams stamp set

-Those 6 ink cubes: Charming Chartreuse, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Patch, Purple Petunia, Yummy Yellow and Mermaid Melody

-Wicked Black ink pad to stamp your butterflies

-The Beautiful Burlap stencil

-The Rainbow Dots

-A blender tool

-Coordinating Copics (or your favorite alcohol marker brand)

-Xpress it cardstock, for the butterflies (not shown on the pics)

-A sewing machine

-A black pen

-Some coordinating washi tape

-Bristol paper

-A black spray ink

-Perfect pearls mixed with water

-A brush

First, I colored all my butterflies with rainbow colors. Then, I sew accross them with black thread.

Now, it's time for some rainbow blending! I like to blend on smooth Bristol cardstock.

Let's get inky! I decided to use the same color order as the Rainbow Dots.

To get a real good blend, I work my inks out a lot! I usually put at least 3 coats.

The Krafty Kolours can be used tone on tone and it works like a charm. Here, I used the Beautiful Burlap stencil!

I love the result! To make it pop a bit more, I splattered some black ink and some Perfect Pearls.

Now, it's time for our sentiment. I wanted it to be the main focus, so I stamped it on white and just inked the border of it with my Wicked Black ink pad.

I added some black accent here and there with my washi tape and black sewing.

This washi tape is a perfect ledge for my sentiment. I wanted some more black so I made a "thread nest". Then, I glued some fun foam behind the sentiment to make it pop up the page even more.

For the butterflies, I wanted them to look like they were flying, so I bent them a bit, put glue in the middle and fun foam on each wing.

Again, for a stronger tone on tone look, I glued my butterflies on it's own color.

With my black gel pen, I added some doodles.

I wanted to emphasize the tone on tone look even more with my embellishments, so I used my Rainbow Dots and to make them pop, I outlined them.

There we go! I hope you'll give the Rainbow art journal page a try, it's so much fun! You can also use all these techniques on scrapbook pages and cards! Can't wait to see yours.

Hello everyone, Krafty Girl Delphine here today to share a card using 2 stamps (or more!). I chose to use the adorable BEARY LOVE and picked two little bears from the set which I fussy cut and coloured in Copics. I used Doodlebug DPs and stamped a little striped heart from the set in RUBY RED Hybrid Ink to match them.

Male Bear: E30, 33, 35, 37, 59, R20
Female Bear: E30, 51, 53, 55, R20
Red: R35, 37, 39

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like! This week Krafty Girl, Melanie is sharing

her creation using the lovely YOU'RE SUN-SATIONAL stamp set!

Hello Krafty friends! As Kimmie mentioned, I used the fun You're Sun-sational stamp set. I stamped the image in our Totally Taupe ink on Arches cold-pressed watercolour paper. The scene was done in Daniel Smith watercolour paints. I love that our inks are compatible with a variety of mediums. Even when my paper is saturated with water, it doesn't bleed!
