Krafty Tips & Tutes~Fun Fold Card~Easy Style!

Hey Peeps!  It's Krafty Girl Kelli here today to share with you a fun and EASY Fun Fold card I found on Pinterest.

Todays tutorial will be using the Fabulous Sentiment set from Becky called Make a Wish, Doodlebug Sunkissed DP and some Doodlebug Sprinkles.  The flower is a random flower from my stash.

OK so let's get started.  The first thing is to cut a piece of cardstock (cs) to 4 1/4" x 11".  You will then score the CS at 4 1/4" and 8 9/16" (horizontally)

OK, next I picked 2 circle dies that fit my sentiment that I chose to use.  You will have 1 for the sentiment and one for the matting.  **NOTE** The die you use for the matting will also be used to create the cut out on the card fold.

You will first die cut the cut out on the flap of the card.

Next go ahead and cut out a mat and a sentiment panel.

OK, it's now time to create the front of your card using Designer Paper (DP).  The matting was cut for the body of the card at 4"x4", the DP was cut at 3 7/8" x 3 7/8".  The flap matting is 1"x4" and the DP is 7/8" x 3 7/8".  Go ahead and adhere these to your card using your favorite adhesive.  I used Score Tape.

Next you will add a bit of adhesive to the cut out piece, keeping your card closed so you have the boundaries of the cut out.

Go ahead and adhere the matting for the sentiment panel now.

Now it's time to stamp the sentiment on the sentiment panel, then start decorating your card using your embellishments.

Lookie there!  DONE!!!!  OK besides the running to my hubby for help in the little marks on the cutter, this was SIMPLE DIMPLE... Seriously a 5 minute card!  WHO doesn't need a quick simple last minute card??
