Hey Krafty Peeps! It's Krafty Girl Kelli here with a Tip & Tutorial for you. If you are like me, you have a TON of Washi Tape sitting around because you see people using it in AWESOME ways, so of course you buy EVERY color/design you see.... well, I have a new use for you to try!!!! I LOVE browsing the tutorial section over at Splitcoaststampers and this was in the Top 50 Tutorials. They used MAsking tape, but washi is the Cute cousin to masking tape! ;)
Your supplies are simple. Distress Inks, Washi Tape (I used 3 different widths), Love Story Sentiments, card stock and some Sprinkles
Start off by tearing a strip of Washi whatever length you want. Lay the Washi across the ink pad and press down on it to get it inked up.
Lay it on your card stock and press down to transfer the ink and then peel off.
Stamp your sentiment on your inked card panel
I tried some doodling, another technique I LOVE on others cards....Added some Doodlebug Bubblegum Sprinkles, matted in Melon Mambo and mounted on card base!!!!
OK wasn't that EASY but FUN??? An AWESOME go at a CAS card too if you skip the matting!
Thanks for popping in and I'd LOVE to see your creations!!!! Share them with us all in the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Facebook group!!!!
