Krafty Tutorial: Copic background by Delphine!

Hello everyone! It's Krafty Girl, Delphine here today to share a Copic colouring tutorial! When I make cards, I love focussing on images and adding backgrounds to them, so let's colour a background!
The stamp I am using is one of the two characters from the adorable Tweetie Pies set.

First draw a rectangle in a pale colour to know where to stop colouring and draw the horizon line where the sky will "stop" in B000. Also draw the number of clouds you want using the same marker.

Colour the sky using B00 and B000.

Add texture to the clouds, using BV20 at the bottom of the clouds, then a few dots in C1 over BV20 and a few spots in C0 at the top. Also draw the top of the grass section using the lightest green you plan to use for the grass - YG01 for me here.

Colour the grass area starting at the bottom with your darkest colour and go towards the top using lighter and lighter colours. The markers I used are YG01, 03, 17, 67.

To add interest, you can add bushes in the background, here using the same colours as the grass. I draw an outline in my lightest green and then fill the bushes starting at the bottom and making dots - here with G28 then YG67.

Continue the bushes with your lightest greens - here YG17, 03, then 01.

You can also add trees the same way and even using the same colours - that's what I did here.

Next colour your character as you wish (all colours listed at the end of the post).

To give more depth to your scene, add darker blades of grass in the foreground. I used C7, BG78, YG67 and YG17. Also add a shadow under your character (YG67).

If you want you can add details with a gel pen to suggest flowers :)
Before I go here is the whole list of markers I used to colour my scene:

Sky: B000, 00, BV20, C0, 1
Grass and trees: G28, YG01, 03, 17, 67
Blades of grass: BG78, C7, YG67, 17
Skin: E000, 00, 11
Hair: 100, BV04, C7, 9
Eyes: BG93
Dress: C7, R35, 37, 39
Bird: B91, 93, 95, 97, Y17

Thank you very much for looking, have a great day!
