A New Skrappy Challenge for June!

Welcome back to another month of Skrappy Fun
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!!

We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!!!

For this challenge you can make anything you wanna....except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!!

Here are some samples to inspire you by Krafty Girls,
Marieke, Melany, Therese and Delphine!

Just make sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

Hello everyone krafty girl Marieke here! It was my turn again to choose a theme this time around. Ads as most of you know i totally love making scene's using Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and different dies. So for today's card i used the new Make a wish set to craft a scene. For the clouds in the background i used the versatile Krafty Scenery Stencil. And i used different kinds of Hybride inks to accent the die cuts.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like! These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however using a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp will earn you double entries! Each submission will enter you into the monthly draw of a $40 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

Inspirational Wednesday - Sweet As Can BEE!

Hello all! Today it is my turn again to inspire you all! This time around a made a birthday card using the versatile Sweet as can Bee stamp! I made the base of the card using a shape stencil en made the paper using distress inks and Marvellous Mocha. Stamped the images using Wicked Black and colored them in using my Copic Markers. With Summer just around the corner, I decided to create a card that celebrates Summer Holidays.
I used the "Good in the Woods" stamp set to create my clean and simple card. I coloured up the images from this super cute set using Copics. You can watch the entire process of the images being coloured in the Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Friends Facebook page.

Inspirational Wednesday - Beach Blanket Bingo!

Hello everyone! Krafty Girl Delphine here today to spread a bit of sunshine! I picked one of my favourite sets, called Beach Blanket Bingo, which includes three super fun characters. I chose the fox, which I stamped in our Wicked Black Hybrid Ink on watercolour paper. I then created a scene around him and coloured everything in watercolour pens. I then added a little handwriting as a final touch!

May Release Day and Krafty HOP!

WOOHOO!

Today we are celebrating all the

new goodies from our
MAY Release at
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

All THREE new clear stamp sets will be available over at the Krafty Shop, along with our new Pink Pizzazz inks, TWO new stencils and our new Fruity Krafty Dots! Our LIVE Online Release Party is this afternoon at 4pm EST and then ALL the krafty goodies will be released!!

May Krafty Peeks....Day THREE! Berry Sweet PLUS a Challenge!

Welcome back to our third and FINAL day
of May Krafty Peeks!

Today we have another fantastic stamp set from our

amazing artist, Melissa Baker-Nguyen!
It's called BERRY SWEET!

This delicious set has so many possibilities!! It features lined images and solid images for inky stamping! You could create lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit....red raspberries, black raspberries...such fruity fun! Plus there are so many fun coordinating sentiments!

May Krafty Peeks....Day ONE! Make a Wish!

This is Day ONE of our Krafty Peeks and we are incredibly excited to share everything with you!
We've got new stamps, stencils, ink and enamel dots!

Krafty Tips and Tuts - Savannah!

Hello everyone! Krafty Girl Delphine Delphine here today to share a step-by-step tutorial on a savannah scene make. I have used a super sweet giraffe from the Wild World set and decided to give it a background.

I die cut a piece of paper and airbrushed it using my Copics. I used YR07, 16 then Y15, 11 to suggest a sunset scene.

I then drew a background, using the chisel nibs of my C7 and C9 to create the ground, then I doodled the rest in Copic multiliners. For the blades of grass in the foreground, I used my Copic Small Brush Multiliner.

I stamped the giraffe from the Wild World Set in Wicked Black Hybrid Ink, did some fussy cutting and coloured it in Copics. Quick tip: I coloured the whole body without paying attention to the dark "spots" of the giraffe, much easier to place the shadows than going around all the little details ;)! On the photo above, I used E41 and E50 only - you will see the rest of the colouring below!

I put my savannah background on a card base, then added my coloured giraffe on foam pads for a bit of dimension. Here are all the colours I used:

Giraffe: E29, 41, 50, 99, W1, 3

Background/ Sky: Y11, 15, YR07, 16

Background/ Black: C7, 9, Copic multiliners

And I thought why not put a frame? That would make a nice gift!
