Hello Krafty Friends!
it's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,
the day we provide you with a bit of extra krafty inspiration
to help you get creative with your krafty stamps!
Hi everyone!
Krafty Girl Karla here, as your hostess this week. I am a huge coffee lover, and I can't start the day without one, so I chose to work with the awesome A Brew-Tiful Day! stamp set. I thought this set would make a wonderful teacher card with a coffee gift card inside, of course! I can also think of lots of dads who'd like to get one for Fathers' Day coming up!!
I decided to use some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and do a no-line watercolouring technique. The Totally Taupe Ink is perfect for this technique and works with watercolours and Copics! I stamped the images out on Bristol Smooth Cardstock, which works great when you're blending with the Zig's, using a panel that I placed behind the front of the card. I used hexagon diecuts to cut 3 windows in my slimline card, adding small frames around the windows. Three small brown Krafty Dots from the Heavenly Dots pack decorate the top of the card.
I used Marvelous Mocha Ink to stamp the sentiment - I just love this font!! and added three coffee beans. I stamped the steam from the coffee with Granite Grey Ink for a light effect (you could even use this ink for the no-line colouring!), and added Glossy Accents to the beans and coffee.
