Inspirational Wednesday- Perfect Peony!

Hi everyone!  This week it’s Karla here today featuring the beautiful Perfect Peony Stamp Set , which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week!

This is such a beautiful stamp set and can be used so many ways!! I started off embossing the flower image with gold embossing powder on a piece of Vicki Boutin Foundations paper, which is nice and thick - great for any mixed media and watercolouring! I then embossed the fabulous sentiment with clear embossing powder over black ink. 

I used the beautiful Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers, which have a lovely bright liquid colour inside a waterbrush, to add colour inside and around the flower image. I used a waterbrush to then pull out the colours and spread them around the cardfront.

I finished off the card with a lightly stencilled effect using the Lots Of Dots Stencil and Designer Denim Ink. I layered it on a black mat and a yellow cardbase and then adhered a few gems for an almost one layer card ;)
