Inspirational Wednesday: Pond Pals!

Hi everyone, It's Krafty girl Patti here and this week we are featuring the fabulous Pond Pals stamp set, which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week!

In the last few months I've been trying to work on more scene cards. So when I chose Pond Pal's, I knew I wanted to make a little night scene for this cute little froggy.

I started by inking the pond first with the Breezy Background Stencil, by masking off the top half, I then used a combo of ink's: Amazing Azure, Enchanted Emerald, Magical Midnight, and Wicked Black.

I then used the Krafty Scenery 2 Stencil with Fresh Fields, and Wicked Black for the grass lines. 

Lastly used the Classic Circles Stencil with Totally Taupe for the moon, and the Amazing Azure and Magical Midnight ink for the night sky.

I then coloured up the Froggy and his lighting bug pals with my copics, added a little glow behind the lighting bugs with distress oxide ink, and added stickles for gold metallic stars.

Making scene cards are a bit out of my comfort zone, but I had fun getting inky and I feel like I learn a little something new each time I make a card with one.
