Inky weekend

Good morning everyone and welcome to our Inky weekend!

Krafty Girl Melany here.  Let's have some Inky fun with the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!  Today, I will show you how I made some backgrounds with the Krafty Kolours, rubbing alcohol and masking fluid.

Krafty Kolours work great with water, but I wanted to see how they were going to react with alcohol.

So first, here's everything you'll need (and, not shown on the picture: Wicked Black Ink pad, ink foam applicator, adhesive remover and paper trimmer)

I made 3 combos. The first one is made with Mermaid Melody, Lovely Lagoon and Yummy Yellow. The second one is made with Marvellous Mocha, Straw and Mossy Meadow. The third one is made with Raspberry Rose, Purple Pansy and Purple Petunia.

So, let's begin!

First, draw your pattern with masking fluid

And let it dry

Then, apply your inks on your block and drop some alcohol on it

Smooch your paper on it

Add inks and alcohol until you're happy with the look

I did the same thing with my other color combo

Remove the masking fluid with the adhesive remover or with your fingers

It reveals your white patterns

Outline the shapes to make them pop

Trim and ink the edges

Et voilà!

And here's what I did with them

So have fun with your Krafty Kolours Inks, try new things! Can't wait to see what you'll come up with!
Have a nice day!
