Saturday Challenge #570 - Something Yummy!

Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

This week, Krafty Girl Karla is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is:

SOMETHING YUMMY!

Hello friends! Karla here with a very yummy project to inspire you in this week's challenge!! I'm using the New Lulu & Friends Stamp Set, along with lots of other 'sweet' supplies from the Shop! I coloured up Lulu with Copic Markers in some pretty colours to match the Simple Stories Sweet Talk collection. I just adore her little tutu and that determined look on her face!

I decided to play off the waffle ephemera and create my own waffle by using the So Many Squares Stencil along with the New Smokin' Squares Stencil to create a mask for my waffle shape, which I inked with Totally Taupe and Sandy Shores Inks. I grabbed the Splish Splash Stencil to make a fun splat of red jelly, which I stencilled on with Berry Bold Ink and even added a layer of clear 3D Matt Gel to create a little dimension and shine.

I used the fabulous February Add-On Bundle to add a chipboard rolling pin and the adorable cupcake washi tape to the card as well! I even used the wood stump stamp from Lumberjack & Jill to add a little woodgrain to the inked rolling pin!

I finished off the front of the card with Dazzling and Pastel Krafty Dots and stamped the inside of the card with a sentiment and image from Happiness Is Homemade!

Inspirational Wednesday: Let Them Eat Cupcakes

Hello Krafty Friends!

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,

Today it is my turn , krafty girl KerriB

to inspire you with a fun clearstamp set

from Kraftin Kimmiestamps.

Hello today I am sharing a card I made using the Clear Stamp set called Let Them Eat Cupcakes. I love this set I have used it for many cards. It has Two main Characters with five sentiments. It is so much fun. If you look at my background I used the new Stencil called Baking Bonanza which I embossed with it. I then took Mermaid Melody and Marvellous Mocha. I chose the Image of the Cupcakes coming right out of the oven nothing smells better than freshly baked goods. I stamped her onto Desert Storm Neenah 80lb paper with Wicked Black Ink. This is a great ink as it is a Hybrid and can be used with mulitple mediums. I then colored the Image with Prisma Pencils and used Stickles on the heart on the Apron.

I made a double Z fold card with Photoplay patterned paper. To finish, I added some (ok, a LOT of) sentiments and Stickles on the edges.

I coloured the fox and raccoon with Prismacolor pencils and the fire with Copics. I added Glitter Ritz to make the flames! I used a stencil to make the panels behind the critters.

Inspirational Wednesday : Polar Pals

Hello Krafty Friends!

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,

the day we provide you with a bit of extra krafty inspiration to help you get creative with your krafty stamps!

Today it is my turn , krafty girl Anna

to inspire you with a fun clearstamp set

from Kraftin Kimmiestamps.

I have chosen a nice wintery set

called Polar pals

this set comes with two main characters

this super fun raccoon and a polar bear with penguins ( see photo below )

and 4 great sentiments :

Life is better with friends, tossing you a snowy hello,

have a ball on your special day!, thanks for picking me up pal!

You can use it for all kind of cards or other skrappy projects!

I have inked the raccoon with marvellous mocha ink coloured it with my Copic ,

masked it and blended some morning marigold ink on top .

Doesn't that brown look nice with the peach / orange shades ?

On the piece of dp below I have repeated the stamp

have a ball on your special day!

Later I have added some pumpkin patch ink on the edges of the flowers and dp.

To create some "snow" I have used modelling paste..

on the edges of the paper and on the snowball .

The Copic colours I have used are :

raccoon : E 41, E 43, E 44, E 47

cheeks : E 95 white gel pen

scarf : YR 02, YR 68 , E 43, E 47

February Release Hop and Shop!

Inspirational Wednesday - Happy Winter Days

Hello Krafty Friends!

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,

the day we provide you with a bit of extra krafty inspiration to help you get creative with your krafty stamps!

Krafty Girl Sabrina here as your hostess this week!

For the frist time in years it is actually Winter here in the Nethelands!! It started snowing last saturday and there is still lots of snow! Mostly it snows and dissapears almost as fast as it falls so this is treat to me!! I love snow!

So what better stamp set to use for todays post then the one called
Happy Winter Days!!

I love this adorable fox and the little ornaments in the set are a lot of fun to color up a border on your card!
I used my zig markers to color everything up. To draw the hills behind the fox I used the Krafty Scenery stencil!
