It's Melanie here sharing a card featuring the fun stamp set, My Happy Place!

I stamped the image from My Happy Place in our Totally Taupe ink and coloured it with markers.  The sentiment from the same set was stamped in Marvellous Mocha ink. The background was created with our Cozy Cocoa stencil. I inked through the stencil with Sandy Shores ink, and then used a multiliner to trace the design. After removing the stencil, I closed the gaps with the multiliner and colored certain portions of the cups with markers.

Hi everyone!  It's Dalis and this week we are featuring a stamp by artist Becky Pearce, Pawsome Holiday! This adorable set has two focal images and two fillers. It also has six absolutely amazing sentiments, that are sweet and witty.

I couldn't decide which of the two focal images to use, so I used them both! As you can see, I couldn't decide if this was a holiday or a Autumn card either. It is that time of the year, were the weather is telling us something but our hearts are telling us "BRING THE TREE OUT!" 

For the first card, I watercolored the puppy with C'arandache watercolor pencils and neon liquid acrylics. The stitching on the card grounds all the layers. I love a good busy background and the mix of this bold floral with the big-scale leaves is just a perfect way to mix-n-match your patterns.

For the second card, it was all about the puppies making this adorable Christmas tree shape. I wanted to keep the entire card almost 100% monochromatic even including the puppies. I made sure that every puppy had different markings to add even more interest to an already super cute image. Some wispy fibers, bling, stitching, and banners make this festive card just perfect for all those animal lovers in your life.

Don't forget to add little highlights with a white gel pen to your images, especially on the eyes, it brings a unique touch to them.

Inspirational Wednesday - Gingerbread Kisses

Hi everyone!  It's Danielle and this week I'm excited 

to share a really adorable stamp set called

Gingerbread Kisses! 

This stamp set has been one of my go to

favorites for the holidays. The adorable

candy house looks so yummy and the 

gingerbread lass and lad and so sweet! 

Here are the cards I made to share with you this week.

This card came together super quickly. 

The background panel is a piece 

of white cardstock sprayed with

Cosmic Shimmer airless mister.

Then the colored image is layered 

over the top. I chose fun and bright 

colors for the candies on and around

the yummy gingerbread house. 

My favorite part of this stamp is 

the sweet little details on the roof 

edge and the curved window. 

And here’s another one

This is a mini slimline card 

(My favorite size to make)

That measures 3 3/4” x 6 1/2”. 

The gingerbread lass and lad were colored

on kraft paper with copic markers. 

I added a few sparkly and shiny extra details

 with gold and black gel pens and some Stickles glitter glue. 

I think that they are just too cute to eat!

Inspirational Wednesday- Sweater Weather!

Hi everyone!  It's Karla and this week we are featuring the Sweater Weather stamp set, which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week! 

This cute wintery stamp set is perfect to create a scene with these adorable characters bundled up in their sweet sweaters! And I love the hot cocoa bar!! I coloured the images with Clickart Markers and used one layer of the Let It Snow stencil in the background with Opal Polish paste.

I used the Build A Snowman stencil which has an ice rink that perfectly fits the ice in this stamp, using Ocean Opulence ink. I added a layer of the Copper Pearl Opal Polish for a shimmery icy finish!

I stamped the sentiment with Whimsical Wisteria ink and  popped it up on the background, adding some cute Doodlebug Design stickers to match the fun paper!

I love Sabrina's feather friends and I thought I would pair it with the Classic Circle Stencil to make my moon, and the following inks to make a spooky sky: Summer Sunshine, Charming Chartreuse, Goblin Green and Wicked Black. I added a little shimmer with Tim Holtz Mica and shimmer sprays, then added stars from Doodlebug.

Krafty Girl Melanie here to share a card with our featured set. I inked up a background using our Daring Diamonds stencil and four of our Krafty Inks including Pretty in Pink, Raspberry Rose (our ink of the month), Purple Pansy and Festive Fuchsia. The butterflies and sentiment were stamped in our Wicked Black ink. Finally, I used some gold ink to paint portions of the wings and then splattered the panel with the same ink.

Inspirational Wednesday - Stone Age Friends!

Hi everyone!  It's Danielle and this week we are featuring the Stone Age Friends! stamp set, as well as the Animal Adventure stencil, which you'll find on sale at... wait for it... 50% off all week! 

 

To make this card, I started with a 

panel of kraft cardstock and blended 

through the Animal Adventure stencil with 

Sandy Shores ink and then added

some Rich Rust for additional

shading and depth.  The die cut

sentiment has Creamy Caramel

and Rich Rust inks blended over it. 

I colored the sweet cave mama

and babe with copic markers. 

The boulders and grass patch are from

two older die cut sets that worked 

perfectly with this stamp and theme.

This year I made myself a goal

to use more of my older crafting

products and stash as much as 

possible. The large HUGS sentiment

is another of those older items.

In retrospect, I wish I had given the 

background a more fun color - like

the Ink of the Month, Raspberry Rose.

I might have to try a second card version

now and see what I like better, lol. 

I was having so much fun with these

products that I made a second card too!

I started with the same kraft background

but this time I sponged Creamy Caramel

ink all over it first.  Then I placed the 

Animal Adventure stencil over the top 

and blended Marvellous Mocha ink onto it. 

I colored the caveman with copic markers.

The card front was so busy with all the

die cuts used for the scene that I decided

to leave a sentiment off and put it on

the inside instead.  

 

I used the ink that was already still

on the stencil and just brushed over it

again to get the softer color.  

Such a fun sentiment too.

Inspirational Wednesday- Snail Mail!

Hi everyone!  It's Karla and this week we are featuring the Snail Mail stamp set, as well as the Mountains of Mail stencil, which you'll find on sale at... wait for it... 50% off all week! 

I think Happy Mail is the best - especially snail mail! What's better than going to your mailbox to find a letter from a crafty friend?!! I'm trying to be better at getting those cards out into the mail! 

I stamped the cute doggy, mailbox and snail from the Snail Mail set and watercoloured them with Zebra Clickart Markers on Bristol Vellum cardstock and then popped them up to create a cute little scene. I used a postage die set to stamp my sentiment on - I love that there are lots of crafty sentiments in this set, perfect to add to your envelope too! We just got a new puppy, Coco, so I coloured this puppy up in similar colors. However, Coco would just eat the letter, so she won't be delivering the mail anytime soon!

I used the Mountains of Mail stencil over a pre-inked background using Tranquil Teal, Alluring Amethyst and Festive Fuchsia Krafty Kolours Inks.

My card is inspired by Craft Roulette’s prompts this week which worked swimmingly with the stamp set I chose! 

The prompts were: 4x8 card (large card but meant I could add a few Narwhals)

Mountain colours (I chose Teals/ blues/ Browns, and then I pushed it by adding the orange for a mountain sunrise)

Floating and water. 

This made for a fun card that had lots of room to build a scene!

My favourite images in this set are the little turtles!

Which are the stamps I picked for this card! I coloured them with my zig-markers in pinks and greens!

For the background I use the So many Circles stencil in Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lagoon. Lovely Lagoon is also on sale as it's our ink of the month!! I added some shimmer stix over the bubbles for the sparkle!

Inspirational Wednesday - Perfect Adventures

Here's the sweet card that I made

for some krafty inspiration. 

I love this sweet stamp set with five 

of the most adorable critters 

who are excited about traveling and 

having some new adventures!

The On The Go! stencil that I used for 

the background, coordinates perfectly with this set.

I started by randomly brushing some spots

 of the soft and pretty Bubbly Blue 

hybrid ink around the panel to 

make wispy "clouds".  Then I used

Stormy Sky (such a rich, darker blue)

and Marvellous Mocha (the perfect brown

 ink) to shade in the planes and suitcases. 

I'd travel anywhere with this cute 

little bunny.  How about you?
