Inspirational Wednesday- Sweater Weather!

Hi everyone!  It's Karla and this week we are featuring the Sweater Weather stamp set, which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week! 

This cute wintery stamp set is perfect to create a scene with these adorable characters bundled up in their sweet sweaters! And I love the hot cocoa bar!! I coloured the images with Clickart Markers and used one layer of the Let It Snow stencil in the background with Opal Polish paste.

I used the Build A Snowman stencil which has an ice rink that perfectly fits the ice in this stamp, using Ocean Opulence ink. I added a layer of the Copper Pearl Opal Polish for a shimmery icy finish!

I stamped the sentiment with Whimsical Wisteria ink and  popped it up on the background, adding some cute Doodlebug Design stickers to match the fun paper!

Hello friends! I'm using the sweet S'more Fun stamp set, which is a super cute camping set - but as you can see these kiddos with their snazzy back packs can also be used for back to school! I really wanted to create a back to school card, so I coloured these cuties up with  Distress watercolour pencils on Strathmore Bristol Vellum cardstock. 

I also wanted to use the circle theme and did a layered stenciling spotlight technique with the Lots of Dots and Classic Circles stencils and Lovely Lagoon Krafty Kolours Ink. I added a sentiment that would be great for back to school from the Air Mail stamp set and Sandy Shores Ink. 

The monthly challenges are a great way to inspire you and help get your creative mojo going!  We've got some fabulous prompts for you and can't wait to see what YOU create!

You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Inspirational Wednesday- Snail Mail!

Hi everyone!  It's Karla and this week we are featuring the Snail Mail stamp set, as well as the Mountains of Mail stencil, which you'll find on sale at... wait for it... 50% off all week! 

I think Happy Mail is the best - especially snail mail! What's better than going to your mailbox to find a letter from a crafty friend?!! I'm trying to be better at getting those cards out into the mail! 

I stamped the cute doggy, mailbox and snail from the Snail Mail set and watercoloured them with Zebra Clickart Markers on Bristol Vellum cardstock and then popped them up to create a cute little scene. I used a postage die set to stamp my sentiment on - I love that there are lots of crafty sentiments in this set, perfect to add to your envelope too! We just got a new puppy, Coco, so I coloured this puppy up in similar colors. However, Coco would just eat the letter, so she won't be delivering the mail anytime soon!

I used the Mountains of Mail stencil over a pre-inked background using Tranquil Teal, Alluring Amethyst and Festive Fuchsia Krafty Kolours Inks.

Hi everyone!  It's Karla and this week we are featuring Flirty Foxes, which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week! 

 These foxes are absolutely adorable and there are so many fun ways to use this set! I used my Copics to colour the images to coordinate with some pretty spring papers I found in my stash.

The mushroom and flower accessories could be used with so many different sets! I stamped them multiple times and layered them on the card to create a little scene. A bit of Touch Of Gloss adds some dimension to this cute fox's eyes, and I added the You're Foxy sentiment - sure to add a smile to someone's face!

I don't think it's ever too early to get started on Christmas cards!! I coloured up Santa and the two sweet reindeer with one of the carts with Copic Markers. I love that you can mix and match all the fun things that can go with the train set!

I used a background created with the Magical Mosaic Stencil and Krafty Kolour Reinkers on a gelli plate and then stamped a sentiment from the  Holiday Sentiments Stamp Set!

Hi everyone!  It's Karla and this week we are featuring the adorable You're A Rockstar, which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week!

I love all the wonderful sets featuring Lexi, Lulu and Lucas created by Cheryl Grant, and this set is no exception! I needed to make a birthday card for my sister next month... shhh don't tell her! and the adorable image of Lexi singing into her hairbrush was perfect!💗We definitely spent lots of time doing this as kids!!

I coloured up this sweet image with Copics and diecut out layers to add to my cardbase using the Simple Stories Celebrate papers and various dies.

I stencilled a music note background with the Musical Melodies Stencil using Purple Petunia and Purple Pansie Inks and stamped the sentiment on an inked background, edged with Stormy Sky blue ink. A tiny party hat sticker was perfect for my birthday theme!

Hi everyone!  It's Karla and this week we are featuring the adorable Hammin' It Up, which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week!

This cute set is so fun and I love the sentiments included! I decided to make a birthday card - these guys definitely look like they're having a party!

I used a gelli plate with the Pawprints 2 Stencil to create a fun background and then used the awesome accessory stamps with Krafty Kolours Inks to add confetti images to the background. I coloured in the confetti with Zebra Zensations coloured pencils and then used glitter glue to add sparkle!

I coloured in the super cute images with the coloured pencils again - there are so many cute ways to colour hamsters!! and I gave them some paper pieced balloons. I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to their cute little eyes and mouth and then popped up a diecut frame. Seriously, I want to go to this party!

Inside, I stamped the birthday sentiment and some more confetti with Krafty Kolours Inks for a fun birthday message!

Inspirational Wednesday - Mermaid Friends!

Hi everyone!  This week it’s Karla here today featuring the beautiful Mermaid Friends Stamp Set , which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week!

This is such a sweet set with two adorable mermaids and their underwater friends! I coloured up one of the images with Nuvo Markers and stamped a fun sentiment on black cardstock. 

I had a background created with my gelli plate and Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Ink Refills using the Magical Mosaic Stencil. Obviously, it seemed perfect to compliment this mermaid and her turtle! I stamped her pretty tail on an alcohol inked background and paper pieced it on the image for a shimmery accessory!

Inspirational Wednesday- Made By Elves!

     Hello Krafty Friends!

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,

Hi everyone! This week we are featuring the fabulous Made By Elves Stamp Set, which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week!

It's Karla here today with a pretty Christmas card using this amazing set!! I just love these three elves, and it was hard to choose which one I wanted to use, but I decided on this sweet little girl elf! I think she is busy getting ready to deck the halls! I coloured her up with Copic markers and added white and stardust gel pen details.

I used the New Sweet Snowflakes Stencil from this month's amazing release, with Krafty Kolour Inks in Aqua Adventure, Designer Denim and Pretty In Pink to stencil over some neutral toned patterned paper. I added the sentiment from the set at the top of the card and used embroidery floss to stitch around the edge of the image. Some pretty iridescent snowflakes and sequins and Krafty Dots from the amazing October Add-On Bundle finish up the card with a little bling!
