Ch #552 - Fall Palette!

FALL PALETTE!

Hello friends! Here in Canada it is Thanksgiving Weekend!! I'm so excited for turkey dinner - even if it is a little more low key than the past. We are still celebrating, cooking, and definitely being grateful for all the many amazing blessings we have. I decided to make a Thanksgiving card with some of the fabulous Kraftin' Kimmie goodies, including It's Turkey Day, Happy Fall Y'all, Christmas Dots and the awesome Plaid Stencil. Of course I had to grab some Krafty Kolours Inks in Crisp Crimson, Tempting Tangerine, Yummy Yellow and Marvelous Mocha! Seriously, do those not sound good enough to eat?!! I started off by stenciling the yellow and orange on a white background, and then slightly moving the stencil and adding the red and brown on top. Then I used a ruler and a gold marker to add in lines between the open areas. I absolutely love this stencil and will definitely be using this for some upcoming Christmas projects!!

I stamped and coloured the cute turkey from It's Turkey Day with Copic Markers, adding the leaves from this set inside the shaker element I included on the card. I even used the cute pumpkin the little pilgrim boy from the set is holding, fussy cutting it out. I stamped the wagon, and pumpkins from the Happy Fall Y'all set, adding one of the lovely sentiments from It's Turkey Day, heat embossed with white powder. I finished of the front with some of those wonderful new Christmas Dots!

Inside, I stamped another sentiment and more leaves from It's Turkey Day! I love mixing and matching sets, and I love decorating inside my cards too!!
