Krafty girl Anna here!

Today I have decided to make a special Christmas card
with the lovely clearstamps set
designed by Emilie Goulet called polar pals .

This set can actually be used for various occasions ,
and besides this super cool  polar bear and penguins
it also has a fun racoon and some lovely sentiments .

Anyway I love to make Christmas cards ,
not only in November but during the whole year :)
as  I do not like to  make them in a rush just before Christmas.

Did you know that at Kraftin Kimmie's group on facebook
we have a weekly Christmas challenge folder with a theme?

A special shaped card, I think I will add a little holder on the back so that it can be hung / attached to the wall or a door as decoration too.

I have stamped the stamp with wicked black ink onto Copic paper
( Perfect Colouring Paper ),
the poinsetta was coloured withsome

* The ink was put on my Tim Holtz glass mat
and after having sprayed some water onto the ink
 I have pushed the poinsetta
cutted out of watercolour paper on top.

 Copic colours;

polar bear and penguins :
N 0, N 1, N 3, N 6
YR 61, YR 65

background :
BG 70, BG 72,
V 0000, V 000, V 01, V 12, V 15, V 17, BV 08

This background was inspired by a lovely blogpost of Faye..
it is easy to do and I love the effect.

The dies I have used are from
Studiolight ( cardshape )

Inspirational Wednesday: Christmas in September!

Hello krafty friends!
It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,
the day we provide you with a bit of extra
krafty inspiration to help you get creative
with your krafty stamps!

Hello, it's Krafty Girl, Melanie here!

Since our September release featured Christmas themed stamps and products, I felt it would be fun to continue an early festive mood by revisiting one of our older holiday sentiment sets, CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS SENTIMENTS.

This set features several lovely sentiments in different fonts perfect for so many Christmas projects. I stamped one of the sentiment in  Wicked Black ink on some patterned paper. All paper edges were sponged in Marvelous Mocha ink then topped with gold paint and bit of gold frantage that was hit with a heat gun. I added a chipboard ornament painted in gold and finished it off with a few dots of red stickles.

CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS SENTIMENTS is on sale this week so hop on over to the shop to scoop it up.

Don't forget to check out all the new release goodies from this month. We have new stamps, stencils, dots and ink!

Thanks for visiting!

This week Krafty Girl, Larisa is sharing her creation with the Furry Holiday Wishes
clear stamp set.

I am so thrilled to be taking over the blog today, making a holiday themed card with Furry Holiday Wishes! This set is so adorable and I just love creating with it.  For my card, I decided to work with the little fox in this set.  I colored him up and cut him out on my Scan N Cut 2.  Then I layered up several die cut pieces of patterned paper and popped him on top using some foam tape.  Then I clipped my sentiment at the top and there you have it.  One festive holiday card.

here's a look at he inside:

Krafty Tips ~ Glimmery cards

Hey Krafty Peeps!  It's Krafty Girl Kelli here for today's Krafty Tips & Tutes!

Today I thought I'd help you with some quick and easy Holiday cards.  I will show you how to mass produce a very simple but gorgeous card that won't get the recipient all glittery!  :)

For my project I used the following supplies:  Glamour Dust, Holiday Trinkets, Perma Tac/Heat n Stick powder, White cardstock, Navy cardstock, Versamark ink,  navy ink and some gold trim.

You will first stamp your stamp in the navy ink.  If you have a solid stamp like the Holiday Trinkets and are having difficulty getting a solid inking, tap your stamp into the Versamark ink first then directly to the navy ink.  Stamp onto your cardstock that is cut for your image.
Now take your Versamark ink pad and directly apply it ink pad to paper technique covering the entire piece of cardstock.

Next apply your heat n stick (or perma tac) to the entire piece of cardstock, tapping off the extra.
Heat the powder until melted, it will have a shine when you are done.  This is VERY sticky so make sure you don't drop it on the carpet..... ;)

Now apply the Glamour Dust to the entire face of the paper covering up all of the shiny melted heat n stick and tap off the excess

The next step is important.  Although the heat n stick is very sticky, heat the piece again with your heat gun, it kinda remelts the sticky and grabs on to the Glamour Dust, you can see it twinkle, kinda like hearing Rice Krispies snap crackle pop LOL

Place your finished piece onto your matting and add the gold trim.  You will need to use a strong wet glue for this.  I used Tombow Mono (green cap)

There ya have it.  Since the Heat n Stick won't dry you can easily set up an assembly line for this type of card!!!  I hope you enjoyed this Tute!  Can't wait to see you all post your creations!
